Lounging aroundRowandale is a large homestead, and as such offers our guests a number of areas to rest and relax, talk, read, or enjoy each others company. From the bottomless couches in the lounge, to the piano room or billiard room, you are spoilt for choice. |

BilliardsIt is easy to imagine in days gone by the gentlemen of the day taking an after dinner cigar over a game of billiards, while the ladies retire to the piano room, snuggled in a fur coat if you wish. It isn't so segregated these days of course. Take your pick, its all up to you. |

Time for Tea?There is always time for tea or coffee, or other treats. Guests are welcome to make full use of our refreshments corner. With fine organic teas, espresso coffee and a fridge of other delights to your palette. We also ensure there are nibbles on-hand upon your arrival, and the fridge is stocked with fresh juices in season, N.Z. wines and beer. |

Tickle the IvoriesIf you can play, then we say "Yay"! Our piano is there for you to enjoy, so don't be shy to pull up to the ivories and tickle out a tune. You don't have to be a concert pianist, but if "chopsticks" is your limit we might frown, just a little! |
